      • Casa Batlló

  • While visiting La Placa Reial, check out a Flamenco show at
    • Los Torantos for just 7 euro
    • Tarantos is a small bar and theatre on the Placa Reial just off La Rambla. If you just want a half hour taste of Flamenco then check it out. Admission is €7 (2009 prices) for a a 30 minute show of flameno song and dance. Three performances nightly at 20.30, 21.30 and 22.30.
    • Try the waffles sold at street stands!
      • Waffle Box is a good chain place for waffles w/chocolate
    • Castell de Mont Juic- €5, 10-20h
    • 2nd best view of city, 15 minute hike from the edge of town
  • Buy a T-10 for public transport
    • A single journey on Barcelona's metro/bus network costs €1.25. As you'll need to use some mode of transport at least three times, rather than paying for single journeys, buy a T-10 (ten journeys) for €6.90. It gives ten journeys for less than the price of six.
    • Oval Burgers is pretty good
    • THE BEST VIEW OF THE CITY (AND FREE!) is from the top of the anti-aircraft bunkers at the Parc Del Guinardo
      • Only the locals know about this place
    • Conesa- one of the oldest sandwich shops in Barcelona.
      • Get the Catalan Sandwich
    • Bo @ B’s is also great for sandwiches, and is really cheap
    • The Lost Synagogue has a cool story if you’re near by, not worth seeking out (it is in the city center, though)
      • Associacio Call de Barcelona
